The information we collect and how it is used
When you make an order, we ask you for your name, e-mail address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and to notify you of your order status. To allow us to contact you directly if there is a problem with your order we also ask for your telephone number. We have a secure server which you are connected to when you place an order or access your www.studentshoes.co.ukaccount. We encrypt your information using SSL (secure socket layers) secure server software before it is sent to us. This ensures that your information can only be read by our secure server and cannot be unscrambled by any outside party. All credit card transactions are cleared using Barclays banking system, which connects to our secure account at Barclays. We will never share any information you give us with other companies without your express permission. We will always ask you for your express permission when dealing with companies who would like to promote their services to you. The only time we will share your data is if you sign up to our mailing list and opt-in to receive information from companies that are carefully selected by Student Shoes. By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Student Shoes. - Q. Can I get exchanges or refunds?
A. Student Shoes wants to ensure your complete satisfaction with the items. We will accept items not worn, used or damaged for refund if received within 28 days of dispatch, enclosing a copy of your invoice. Please state whether an exchange or refund is required. Once your goods are accepted back you will be issued with an exchange or refund, which usually takes between 7 and 10 working days. We can refund to the card originally used for payment. - Q. What is the address for returns?

A. For exchanges we will cover the cost to send items back to you. For returns we regret we cannot refund the postage cost. - Q. My order has been returned to the sender but I no longer want it. Can I have a full refund?

A. Stock availability is displayed on the website. If an item is out of stock you can request an email alert to let you know when it is in stock again. Additionally, if the item you have ordered is unavailable or temporarily out of stock we will endeavour to contact you via email or telephone as soon as possible. - Q How can I find the heel height and measurements?
A. Heel heights given are an approximate measurement taken from the inside of the heel and are a guide only. - Q. What sizes are displayed?
A. All sizes are displayed in UK sizes.

- Q. What payment methods can I use?
A. STUDENTSHOES accepts Visa (except Visa Electron), MasterCard, Switch and Solo, but not American Express. - Q. It’s asking for an issue number but I don’t have one.
A. This is only applicable for Solo/Switch cards. If you are not using one of these payment types please ignore this box. - Q. It’s asking for a security code. Where Can I find this?
A. The card security code is the last three digits on the signature strip on the reverse of the card. - Q. Can I pay with a cheque?
A. Unfortunately we do not accept cheques.
